High above Jackson Hole looking eye level with the mountains of the Grand Tetons, was a small ceremony of around 25 where these two got married at Amangani. That entire morning, the air was filled with dandelions, picked up and carried by the winds so strong that they flipped ceremony chairs over during set up. For me as a photographer, it was hard not to be completely engulfed in the beauty of not just the scenery, but of the hotel property. But once the ceremony started, the intricacies of the wedding took over. This wedding was all about family. And because the wedding was all about family, it was amazing to watch honest and candid conversations, old stories being told, fun ribbing and inside jokes, and listening in on conversations talking about past experiences. My favorite part was watching the parents interact with each other, a testament to the example set to their children for marriage. Once dinner had started, they gave their guests a surprise opera performance by Chris Macchio, and ended the night running off into the night through a shower of flowers.

10 / 10, I would definitely do this again with this couple.
